Courtney Stone is the Community Organizing Manager at The Independence Center and has her degree in social work from Colorado State University. She grew up in Texas but moved to Denver (where her parents met) when she was fourteen and has enjoyed Colorado ever since.
Courtney is on the Pikes Peak Area Council of Government’s Mobility Coordinating Committee and Citizen’s Advisory Council. She is the Chair of the Transit Passenger Advisory Committee, the Vice-Chair of the Civic Engagement Committee of the Rising Professionals, and a Commissioner on the City’s Human Relations Commission.
